Are you looking to bring more existing customers back through your doors? Then maybe it’s time to start taking a lead from some of the big multi national organisations and looking at offering incentives to return.

Depending on your target market, then the use of a puzzle promotional gift might be sufficient to bring in large amounts of return traffic whilst not costing too much. By getting the puzzles printed in a variety of patterns, colours or even just a different range of gifts, it is possible to give your customers an incentive to return to your store and buy again the following week.

Many big name brands use these techniques to ensure that a proportion of their customers are regular visitors and keep coming back. The key to the success of these sort of marketing campaigns is to ensure that your customers are fully aware of what you are doing and know that if they return next week, they can add to their collection.

To do this, produce your collection of 4 or 5 puzzles, either different puzzles or for greater longevity the same puzzle printed in different colours, allowing you after a month or so to use a different puzzle in its collection of colours. Once you have the assortment of puzzles ready, all that you need to do is take a quick photograph of each puzzle, or even all of the puzzles in one photograph.

You also need to decide under what circumstances you are going to give the gifts to your customers. Is it for visiting your shop? Is it for buying anything or for buying from a certain range of products? Or is it for spending a certain amount whilst shopping?

Many businesses and small business owners have also discovered the benefits that promotional stationary can bring to their business. There are a wide variety of items that can be used, whilst the effect that the stationary can bring isn’t just limited to the receipt of the gift.

Promotional stationary can be distributed to potential customers and used by company employees alike, both with excellent benefits. For a start, if your employees are using your own promotional stationary and it is being sent to potential customers, it is adding to the branding of your company in the paperwork being received. Or you can give away your promotional stationary to customers, either directly as thank you presents or indirectly, through exercises such as mass give always in trade fairs, exhibitions and similar.

So, apart from pens and pencils, what promotional stationary is available? Promotional rulers allow plenty of space for logo imprinting, whilst being functional and long lasting. These form an interesting gift to those that receive them. Many people should find the promotional post-it notes highly useful, and with every one passed onto someone else, your brand is being circulated.

There are also a good range of promotional paper pads available and promotional memo blocks, both having similar benefits to the post-it notes, although maybe sometimes more likely to be passed on to other people.

And if the paper based promotional stationary doesn’t take your fancy, then don’t forget to look through the list of general promotional stationary that is available. Promotional stationary is available in all sorts of useful formats, take a look at what is in the market and start promoting your business with your now!

Your business is an issue of chances - you just need to look in the areas that even may look unusual. You never know where it is about getting extra money. Sometimes even the knowledge of grant proposal example can be turned into the money for your business.

Time to Discover the Info - USB Device for Promoting Your Business

Nov 29th, 2008 Posted in Business and Management | no comment »

There are a wide range of flash drives to choose from, so they make really good promotional products to give away to your customers, potential customers and your loyal workforce.

What type of promotional flash drive you might decide to choose from will no doubt depend on the type of organisation you are and the image you are wanting to portray, along with the eventual usage of the drives. If you are issuing them to your own work force, then compact space saving drives might be the order of the day. The obvious first choice in these cases would probably be the standard oblong shape, with plenty of printing room. But you might want also to look at the slightly more clever looking retractable USB drives.

Also suitable for many internal organisation uses are the range of twister drives. These allow the user to twist away the protective cover over the USB port and are not only compact, but this twist feature should also prevent the loss of the protective cap.

The list of important features of flash drives that you are issuing to staff will usually start with price. Most companies, when issuing such tools to their own staff, aren’t wanting to spend too much. It is also useful that the drives are neat and compact and if the protective cap can be secured, then even better. These features are all brought together in the twister drives, which is what makes them so popular.

For promotional USB flash drives that are being given away to people outside of your organisation, sometime the more interesting shapes are more appropriate than the basic, standard shapes. By giving away a flash drive that is in a certain feature shape, you can also be saying something about your company. Practical shape or fun shape immediately grabs the audiences’ attention and tells them something about you.

Companies looking for an extremely practical USB flash drive can do far worse than looking at the credit card sized and shaped flash drives. These compact shaped and sized flash drives come with a fold out USB connection and are suitable for carrying in card holder wallets. For people wanting to be seen as working in the high tech end of their market, or those wanting to give out an extremely useful USB flash drive, then these could be just what you need to be using.

For those wanting to offer a tool that looks elegant and stylish, then there are ranges of leather bound USB flash drives. With these the actual drives aren’t leather, but they are enclosed in a protective leather case. Another type of elegant USB flash drive are the pen shaped drives. Looking exactly like high end pens, these usually pull into two parts, the upper end being the actual drive whilst the lower end forms the protective cover over the USB connection.

Lastly, for those wanting a more light hearted association, there are an excellent range of novelty shaped flash drives that can be imprinted or engraved with your logo. These usually either pull apart, as with the pens, so that the lower half acts as the protective cover, but in some cases the USB connection will stick out from the item with a detachable cover.

Stop wasting money, you will need them for your business or for yourself. Learn how to apply for car loan with maximum gain from the procedure.

Multi Level Marketing Tips - How To Thrive In Your Network Marketing Business

Nov 26th, 2008 Posted in Business and Management | one comment »

As far as network marketing tips are concerned, if there is one you should write out and plaster on your wall it’s this…”Never come across as a desperate marketer.”

Network marketing is full of desperate marketers yet the sad part is, many just don’t realize they are acting desperate and it generally stems through poor training and mentoring. Those who are classed as desperate marketers are the ones who go at a prospect from the moment they meet them either personally or on the phone and hammer them with their offer.

It eventually disintegrates into the marketer telling their prospect that if they don’t join they will either never see financial wealth or miss out big time. Let me ask you this…would you be impressed by this rhetoric?

Not likely and neither should you be. Where is there any value to the prospect with this type of interaction. There’s none so as far as MLM tips go, keep this impulse under check and develop the mindset of help first benefit later.

First Contact With Your Prospect

Take this network marketing tip to the bank… when you first speak to any prospect remember, it’s all about them. Here are some tips in creating a good impression first up:

- Make a proper introduction. Always ask if this is a good time for them. Once the initial introductions are out of the way then…

- You need to establish the prospects why and desires. What time frame they have set themselves to achieve these.

- Make sure you listen carefully to their responses. Write them down.

- When you ask a question, avoid interrupting the prospect or cutting them off. Remember, it’s about them. Before you ask a question, wait until they have finished speaking and then pause briefly before asking your question.

Network Marketing Tip - What Not To Do

As far as network marketing tips are concerned, avoiding a desperate demeanor on the phone is high on the list. For example, many new recruits are so excited about speaking to their first prospect they already have them recruited and placed in their downline before they’ve even spoken with them.

You should never ask your prospect to join your business because you’re in the best company which has the best products, life-changing in fact, and they have the best compensation plan bar none.

Yes, you know this is true but all the prospect will see is a desperate individual trying to sign them up at any cost. In fact, you’ll come across as having no interest in their needs, only yours.

This first contact should be limited in time. Your main aim is to understand what’s important to the prospect and then leave them with some information to go over before your next appointment. This is one of the best multi level marketing tips you’ll ever hear.

Small Business Idea - Why Your Small Business Idea Could Backfire

Nov 22nd, 2008 Posted in Business and Management, Marketing and Advertising, Online Business, Promotion and Marketing, Work | no comment »

If you are in the market for a small business idea then you don’t have to look far. It’s just a matter of jumping online and typing home business opportunities or make money online and you will be presented with millions of search results.

So what now? How do you choose and who do you contact? Do you need to part with money just to get more information? Starting to look like a bad idea huh? Well the truth is, looking for a small home business idea online can be a minefield of information but sifting through the rubbish to find the nuggets of gold means using a little commonsense. The best piece of advice which will serve you well is “if it’s too good to be true then it usually is.”

Thousands upon thousands of people are going online everyday looking for something better in life and home businesses are top of their list. And the “neon signs” are everywhere about how quickly you can get to thousands of dollars a month.

Beware The Too Good To Be True Offers

But the truth is, it can be a literal minefield if you don’t know where to tread and while the waters may seem fine on the surface, there is more than a shark or two lurking beneath.

One of the areas people are attracted too as a small business idea includes the survey arena. Paid surveys have become big business and people are earning easy money online. However, those making money are more than likely experienced survey takers who have gone through some due diligence to get where they are.

So where are they exactly? Are surveys a good concept as a small business idea? Probably no. While some are making in excess of four figures a month the majority are not. In reality, the paid survey arena is ideal for those looking to buffer their bottom line every month. In other words, to add a little extra to their main income.

The Image Of Surveys

It can be a tough place to “cut one’s teeth on” especially as the image of surveys has been questionable for sometime. This is unfortunate for those legitimate players who have seen the image tarnished by some unscrupulous operators. But that’s not to say there isn’t money to be made.

If you are considering surveys as a idea for small business just keep in mind as a vehicle to earn a big income every year it may not be suitable but worth the look as a handy part time income generator. But there is a learning curve so make sure you perform plenty of due diligence before taking the plunge.

Get Useful Recommendations - Business Management in IT Business

Nov 21st, 2008 Posted in Business and Management | no comment »

Your guide to knowing more on business process improvement software.

IT Executives boost their chances of being successful when they follow Service Management principles to line up their IT initiatives with the goals of their trade. It’s easier for to exhibit the value that have been formed in terms of bigger profits, reduced expenses, better communication and reduced risks by adding a leading edge Security and a widespread Business Continuity plan.

There is a lot of reasonably priced management software, which are currently available. They come with many features, and they are simple to install, learn and use. The PRO and Enterprise Contract Management Editions, provide management software, for any size association or budget. Receiving automatic reminders of critical dates, generating reports, accessing important information, can all be managed by the management software. This is the managing in a business context today.

This software has many features for your company stress reduction. Some of these features are: Complete electronic record of all contract’s details, every party involved and deadlines. This decreases risk of lost or misplaced documents, lowers legal research costs, reduces probability of disputes and costly proceedings. Multiple alarms avoid missed deadlines and unnecessary auto-renewals. One can set as many alarms for a contract as needed. One can also get alerts for key renewal and termination dates. One can store an abstract of the contract and associate an unlimited number of uniquely named notes through Contract Overview and Notes fields.

You are also getting the flexibility to basically customize the database each time entries are added. For example, a contract can be linked to related images and files, which can easily be opened and viewed. Contracts will be much easier to find with one-click sorting and easy searching, eliminating the effort required to dig through paper files. Reports on search results or on the whole database become much easier to generate. The time saved will improve your position in business games.

In order to build management software, one is required to build a full-time team. Experimentation, as well as trial and error, is required for constant maintenance and simulation. A basic version should take 10 months to a year to build, with at least two to three engineers to ensure maintenance and stabilty thereafter.

You should understand how software implementation and de-implementation can affect your website and internal tech team. Certain software can only work if you install a code clip on your website and allow for changed URLs on search engines. That can result in major extra work for your internal tech team and lose keyword history when your URLs get changed in search campaigns.

It’s easier for a business to exhibit the value they have achieved in terms of bigger profits, reduced expenses, better communication and reduced risks by adding a leading edge Security and a widespread Business Continuity plan. Management software collaborates on the issues and challenges that need to be solved. It is as useful for business games as it is time saving. In the early stages, a group will be devoting full effort. The first twelve months will be devoted to simulation, code creation, bug fixes and more iterations. Beyond that, there will need to be employees devoted to updating the product and keeping it running at peak efficiency.

Find out if you can get a grant to make your staff educated about these issues. For the grant proposal example, please check this post.

Discover Topic of Basics About Car Sales and Promotional Items Advertising

Nov 19th, 2008 Posted in Business and Management | no comment »

Many car sales rooms have discovered the advantages that giving out printed keyrings with each car sale has to bring. The benefits can range from easier referrals, to customers coming back for extra after sales services to repeat sales. Even just giving the impression of better customer service can help the bottom line in the future with more loyal customers returning.

But what sorted of keyring should you be looking for? Are all giveaway promotional items working the same way? The bog standard basic model, that I’ve seen used in quality new car sales rooms and will carry to almost every car sales room out there is the printed plastic keyring. These are a hard wearing plastic fob, within which there is a paper inset suitable for printing with your logo, telephone number and maybe address.

Whether you opt for a round, oblong or a shaped keyring, there’s enough choices in the plastic keyrings to ensure you have something that matches your logo and overall printing. Best of all, you can also request a background colour for the paper insert to really show your logo off to it’s full, whilst reminding your customers where they like to go for their new cars.

At the top end of the spectrum are the printed leather keyrings. These really do have a look and feel of quality about them, with your message engraved onto a metal insert attached to the leather fob. These are more expensive than the plastic fobs, but they really do shout quality and care from the roofs to the recipients. Your customers are going to know when they receive their car keys from you attached to these leather keyrings that they are buying from a quality outfit!

There’s also an excellent choice of shaped metal keyrings if you want to make sure that you are noticed and attract attention with your keyring. From steering wheels to lorries, from disc shaped to wavy keyrings. These will be so eye catching you might not want to just save them for buyers, you might find yourself handing them out at events!

And if you are after really useful keyrings, don’t forget the utility keyrings. You can choose for very little cost a keyring torch, for example. Giving this to your customers ensures they are driving around with a torch on their keyring. They might just be pleased one dark night when they need it! Other utility keyrings include trolley coins – your customers will never again be found short of a coin to release their shopping trolley – they can just use their keyring!

Whatever your choice of keyring, there are certainly plenty to choose from. Just make sure that you have your contact details on show and you should start to reap the benefits from future sales.

Think out of the box; it’s not all about keyrings - for example, have a look at cheap promotional mugs.

Doing online business? well, then you definitely need good online selling tips.

Get The Right Skills And Consultants For Your Business

Nov 18th, 2008 Posted in Business and Management, Marketing and Advertising, Work | no comment »

{I had some dreams..

Image by Capture Queen ™ via Flickr

Running your own organisation has never been easy but in today’s unstable economical climate the need to succeed has become more difficult to achieve. Most new businesses often struggle to survive past their first year and you don’t tend to feel safe until you have reached the 10 year mark. This is why it is vital to not only understand the needs of your customers and employees but it is also important to take care of the needs of your organisation. Most business men will have covered the typical areas by hiring accountants to sort out the finances and taxes but many business owners often take on various roles in a company instead of asking for outside help.

If you find that you are in charge of your organisation’s marketing, public relations and advertising as well as running the IT services and telecom services then you are already taking too much on. What you really need to do is find a good business consultancy that will advise you on all of these issues. Experts such as these will be able to take most of the time and stress out of sorting out these problems. Experts already have years of experience that speed up the process and simply by analysing your business they will be able to tell you which areas you need to improve and make changes in. A good business consultant will be able to sort out your telecom and information technology systems as well as organise hospitality functions to help get you on your way.

Marketing is vital for all businesses. You need to make sure that the public recognise your businesses name and logos in order to build your brand awareness. For this reason you need to be seen in every type of media consistantly. Repetition is the key to a good marketing campaign so you need to build your presence across a range of media. You need to use media such as televison adverts, magazines and newspapers so that everyone can see your business and your key messages. This can be a hard thing to do if you don’t have the experience of dealing with advertisers and understanding exactly what you are getting for your money and how you can measure its effect. This is why it is a good idea to use a marketing consultancy as they will have all of the tools and experience required to get you where you need to be. It is a good idea to use a local marketing consultant especially if your goal is a local market because they will have knowledge of the area and it will be easy to meet. For example if your organisation is targeting the Dorset area then it would be a good idea to use a marketing consultancy in Dorset.

Another vital part of a advertising campaign is to have a strong presence on the world wide web. When people hear about your business through a TV advert or newspaper article, chances are they won’t look into your company immediately. Most of the time they will look to the Internet for details which is why it is important to use SEO and pay per click advertising. These will allow you to be found for your company name in the search engines as well as for key phrases that relate to the sort of products and services your business offers.

It is also important as a business owner not to forget to learn. One of the common mistakes made by business owners is to become lazy and just get someone else to do it. This is bad as you need to always be learning about your industries developments so your organisation stays at the top of the industry. It also doesn’t harm to brush up on other business skills. If you are the kind of person who is often holding seminars, meetings or board meetings then you may want to look at improving these skills. presentation skills training will benefit you by allowing you to make the best out of any situation where you need to get an idea across to a large group of people. Whether it is a small staff meeting or if you are trying to sell your business services to a large conference hall, good presentation skills are key.

It is a well known fact that both newcomers and veterans in the corporate world love the game of Golf and this makes gifting ideas are relatively easy for anyone wanting to go shopping for them. There are several golf related gift items available in the market, not just the golf-balls and the golf-clubs, beside the typical golf accessories.

There are attractive leather golf caddies on the market that would make great executive golf themed gift ideas, and they’re even roomy enough to carry all the essentials for a golf outing. And get this, there are even devices available that let you spin your golf-ball in such a way that it actually adjusts the heavy areas of the golf-ball to make it perfectly balanced (as opposed to wobbly and inaccurate). Can you imagine? Technology is moving pretty fast, and now your boss’ golf game benefit from it!

Have you thought of GPS for golf? Well, even that is a reality now! GPS units are used in golf these days. Just as the GPS units in cars, there are GPS units meant for golf and the more expensive models contain more features. Thanks to the satellite technology, these GPS units can actually be used to accurately measure the distances on the golf course even up to a few yards. It doesn’t end there just; these GPS units work on any course in the world!

And no matter which course in the world you play, a great tool on the course is a push cart. The typical tools on the course are bags that you carry on your shoulder, or clumsy pull-carts. A push cart is a great gift idea because when pushing the cart, you are showing how environmentally conscious you are.

Those of you who like to go for more elegant and technology-less accessories, choose from an assortment of office accessory items. All these come in eye-pleasing packaged sets, and gifting them to the golfing executive will help him show his love for golf. As one can see, a direct accessory for the game is not a necessity; it could be just any item that clearly commemorates it (e.g. a clock, lamp, etc.).

So what kind of gifts makee the best accessories and gifts for golfers? Well you really need to think about the person in mind, because there are golf gifts for all kinds of executives. Whether it be one that’s about the latest gadget, or whether it’s just someone who’d appreciate a well made leather caddy.

At Home Business Leads - 3 Things You Need To Know About Home Business Leads

Nov 8th, 2008 Posted in Business and Management, Marketing and Advertising, Online Business, Promotion and Marketing | no comment »

The importance of at home business leads cannot be understated especially when that home business is network marketing. No leads virtually means no business and yes you could create some income retailing products but it doesn’t build long lasting wealth.

But going out and prospecting “willy nilly” will get you a whole lot of frustration and heartache. Frustration will come from the fact you’ll get uninterested response in the majority of cases and heartache will come from the constant rejection.

And it’s the latter which kills the enthusiasm and desire of most network marketers. MLMers in general are a hearty breed but get told no often enough and there is really only one way to go…and that’s out the exit door looking for something else a little safer and friendlier.

We’ve identified three must ask questions you need to be analyzing before you “throw your line in the water:

How To Identify Your Target Market

1. Who is your target market? In other words, who are the people likely to be most interested in your opportunity?

2. What are they actually looking for? Do you know the things that concern them and what they are actually thinking about?

3. Do you know what they need? And do you have the solution they are looking for?

As a network marketer, knowing your target market is vital. Because network marketing can be really challenging in the first few months, you want to eliminate the chances of constant rejection by only targeting people with an interest in what you’re offering.

So in a broad sense, at home business leads for this niche would naturally include those looking for home business opportunities. But that is still a little too broad. You need to drill down even further. People who are looking to get out of the 9-5 grind are a good target market but still a little too broad.

The truth is, your best target are network marketers. Think about this for moment. They have already been involved in the business, they may have failed in the past and are between companies, or they may have been unfortunate to see their company fail despite the fact they had a little success. So their appetite has been whetted.

Once you’ve established this then it’s time to look at the other two questions. This is a great exercise and you simply put yourself in your prospects shoes and imagine what they would be looking for, what they need and want and what solutions you can then provide for them.

This is great information to use in your marketing and promotion because when you connect with your at home business leads on a conscious level and they come across your message, then they become attracted to you simply because you are understanding what they need. and it’s you people will join in business not your company.

Can You Use Seo Press Formula To Maximize Your Income - Seo Press Formula Launch!

Nov 7th, 2008 Posted in Business and Management, Marketing and Advertising, Online Business, Promotion and Marketing, Work | no comment »

Graphic representation of a minute fraction of...

If you have done any kind of online marketing, you must know how important marketing and promotion is to the life of your online business. It can become quite illusive if you don’t have a specific blueprint of how you should market on the Internet.

Of course, keyword research is of the utmost importance, but so is Web 2.0, viral marketing, forum membership, niche marketing and knowing the guidelines of the major search engines especially Google, to enable you to get top placement and maintain it.

A product called SEO Press Formula will be released on November 6, 2008 by Brian Johnson that is set to address all these details of online promotion. I had a chance to review a copy of this product and must say I was impressed. Take a look at the review here at Don’t Buy SEO Press Formula until you read this.

It is frustrating when you spend hours promoting a product or website and all of a sudden when you check the search engine; you are no longer anywhere to be found. It is as if you dropped off the search engine map into now where. If that has not happened to you, if you are around long enough on the Internet Marketing scene without the SEO Press Formula, then it is a given that you will.

Multiplying your efforts by leveraging other people’s efforts is another key to success online. SEO Press Formula teaches you how to do that. You are only one person so unless you are going to outsource your projects, there is no way you can do everything yourself and there is not many hours in the day to do that. So you will need all the help and resources as you can summon.
You also need a push button method to direct targeted traffic to your website as SEO Press Formula does.

Traffic is extremely important and free traffic is even better. However, you want to have your web site structured in such a way as to have your visitor or prospect know which link to click on and where to go next. A good squeeze page is a good place to begin with a great landing page. I have visited some websites that are so confusing; I just click out of them and leave right away. You want to have an organized web page that is clear and not crowded.

There are different dynamics to marketing online and if you are going to try to learn it all on your own, then you are in for a longer haul than if you get the right resources to guide you from people like Brian Johnson , of SEO Press Formula and others who have tried and proven systems that are already working. Why invent the wheel when you can use the blueprint written and experienced by your peers?

Internet Marketing is not difficult if you are equipped with the right information. There is so much information online that are misleading because I have made the mistake of being duped by the sales tactic of others and I wouldn’t want that to happen to anyone else. So when you are looking for resources and tools to help you, then you should always search for someone online who has reviewed the product or can recommend it from personal use.

I highly recommend SEO Press Formula and if you want to read the entire review, then go to my SEO Press Formula blog here at SEO Press Formula Launch.
